hi guys i have a 99 uk scoob. pump has been making a noise lately getting worse, been checking levels and its been fine.

yesterday noticed small pas leak at the right hand side of engine (n/s) fluid is hitting bottom rads hose and dropping, i cant see where the hell the leak is coming from any suggestions?? very small amount. the n/s cam belt cover is tarnished with oil residue.


topped up the pump yesterday and its quiet again.

my question;
the leak in the system this would pull air into the system causing the whirring right???

is it safe to say my pump is fine ie- not to waste my money on buying another one.

any ideas what/where the leak could be coming from??

ill try to upload pics when i can, i didnt use the car for two weeks and its a small blob on the driveway which i saw yesterday.
