Having a bit of trouble trying to get someone to have a look at my exhaust . Took it to two exhaust places and as soon as they look at it they have both said it's before the turbo we won't touch it . Now is this a general problem or just me lol ?

 

They must mean the up pipe. its fiddly to get at and easy to break bolts so they prob dont want the hassle. Any performance specialists near you?

 

yea ive looked the best I can the manifolds seem ok . Theres one 30 miles away but they are fully booked for weeks .would this be hard to tackle , or would main dealer take this on

 

Less than an hour away is fb tuning from you. Not just a specialist but the capability to fix/make better and not just replace.

it sounds like the up pipe is blowing . its on a 02 bugeye .

would this also cause the engine management light to come on ?

A local garage that knows what there doing should do it with ease. Mine is in atm as had a slight blow from what we thought was the exhaust, only to find out that the up pipe was rotten

 

I tried bells first because I know they make custom exhausts I was shocked when they didn't want to know . Think I need to sit down and do a little research cheers guys

 

Im near swindon and have a bug up pipe with cat if its any use!
