Default Drivers window

When I put my window up it doesn't sit up where it should and leaves a gap like it's not tucking in properly, so when I get out the car and shut the door it sticks out a little, has anyone else suffered this and what is the fix

I had a similar issue on my bug accompanied with a clunk when it got to the top

Turned out to be a bolt for the pivot on the motor arms in the centre of the door was just about to fall off. Luckily no thread damage. One bolt knocked the whole lot out of alignment Tightened up lubed the arms all sorted. Took about ten mins start to finish. HTH

I stripped the door and found the bolts loose and misaligned set it back straight bolted everything back up and job done, a little longer than 10 mins but a simple job in the end

Check all the nuts are tight on the motor, and even try to loosen some nuts and shut the window and let it adjust itself.. So which nut I need to check to adjustment. Btw is bug, blob and hawk eye have the same door and glass

I had same issue on my bugeye when I bought it, Again it was loose bolts but one of them torn a slotted hole and the bolt had pulled through. so I used an oversized flat washer and jb weld to pick the original hole and put thread lock on all bolts when retightened. No more issues 3 years on.
