Default 4 pots

hello everyone got a 1998 turbo wagon s reg facelift had it 6 years now with only 54000 on clock but brakes dont let me push it i dont trust them they work fine but no confidence at speed will 4 pots make alot of difference?

I'd get cheap pads or softer ones, i've got brembro pads on mine and there too hard, if you press lightly you don't get much braking you need to push peddle right down

Any money spent on the 2 pots is just wasted IMHO.
4 pots with decent pads and plain discs (grooved would be ok, drilled is crap)
are a good starting point, if not going tracking the car every week.

TBH, after a "spirited" drive in mine, it was the first thing I changed.

two pot calipers on that car was a crime, Subaru were very greedy...which is one of the reasons the cars are no longer as popular.
