Question Rotten pipe

Hi folks

My mechanic has told me (while replacing my anti-roll bar bushes) that the blowing from my exhaust is a pipe that comes from the exhaust manifold to the turbo. Am I right in thinking that this pipe is called "turbo up pipe"?
If so any idea as to where's a good place to get one from? Don't have to be new, just in good condition and a good price (thumb)

Ta

That was going to be my next question. So your saying solid pipe is better than flexi?

Is this the general thought or individual preference? This question is open to all who read and want to post

And thanks cookstar

agree. nearly got caught out on this. apparently a larger bore will need to be mapped as it will throw the boost out.

I fitted a slip joint type up pipe and the difference is that it is one pipe inside another to make a slip joint and i chose it beacause it was easier to line up when bolting up and the internal diameter was not large and so affecting the turbo spool up and it is recomended by many subaru specialists who know their subaru`s.

Well going by the looks of the prices I have found, a slip joint pipe is out of the question
So what's the best option out of a solid pipe or a flexi one?

Invidia is almost spot on for fitment, and does not have a flex section (that always starts blowing)
