As stated above my boost fluctuates when 100% throttle lower down the rev range. 4k-5.5k?

Any ideas why?

you have a boost leak of some sort by the looks of it, check for split pipes on intake areas, what dump valve are you running?

the car sounds like a rattle snake when it fluctuates. Standard BOV.

details from the description of the car says that its making full boost at just 2,800 rpm (approx 350bhp) after its re-map by Duncan Graham (Race Dynamix).

Its not making full boost that low.

Have you got a restrictor in the Vac line running to the boost gauge? As the needles on some gauges can flap about without a restrictor.

im not quite sure, but you can hear the "rattle snake noise" from under the engine. so I'm sure its not just the gauge?

You can check for leaks with soapy water, spray the pipes/clamps with the engine running then rev it up a bit,the best way is to pressurise the system.

The noise is just the boost solenoid. Mine sounds the same.

Buy this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Inline-Res...item338f4ef257

Fit it in the VAC line that runs to the boost gauge.

Seem to stay hot for longer, expansion tank empty after a drive so changed thermostat and all good.

If it's been remapped for v power, then I wouldn't be booting it with normal unleaded in it. This will cause its own issues. Top up with v power and take it easy for a bit.
