Default low idle/cutting out

my 96 RA has recently started idling very low so that when the engine is cold it starts fine but cuts out as soon as i take my foot off the accelerator. gets a bit better when the engine warms up but still a bit too low idle. Any ideas what can cause this? Can you just "turn up" the idle with an Apexi FC with a controller? thanks!!

My evo 8 did the exact same thing, the boost controller was faulty & i bought a new one & got a remap which solved it & never did it again & was running so much better

mine runs really well at the moment, and was only remapped last year, it's just the idle that seems too low. read up a bit on the idle control valve, but it seems that the revs are too high when that's faulty...

you could check and clean the throttle body.Had this problem and whipped the tb off and give it a good clean with carb cleaner . Ran so much better afterwards
