Default Reverse inlet manifold help

Good evening!

I have nearly finished my conversion but I need the hose that comes off the throttle body. I know its a 70 to 63mm reducer but does anyone know the angle you need on the kink or where they got it from?

I can get one made easily enough from SFS if I know what I'm asking for.

Cheers! Adam

It would be hard for us to tell, as it depends on some other factors like the Intercooler piping for example, and how that comes up.

I've ran a 90 degree hose, but with a little tweaking of the pipe I can now use a 45 degree one, placing the piping a bit higher, and thus gaining a bit more clearance from the radiator etc.

Thanks! I am going to form the pipe work once I have the hose so I'll give it a go at 60 degrees to be on the safe side

Make your pipework first would be the sensible and potentially less costly approach, IMO.

Just to add a thought, why not re-do all the pipe work from the intercooler outlet, no need for a reducer then.

Micky,

I'm using my old pipe work with some extra bits that I bought. A friend of mine can weld them up where necessary so my concern was the bonnet shutting more than anything when I've finished.

No problem, look farward to seeing it finished.

I'll be doing mine, soonish. Plumbing in my recirc is possibly going to be my main concern.
