clunking and pulling to right

my 03 STI with dccd-A,is clunking heavily under acceleration in auto and pulls wildly to the right,ive stuck it in manual all the way to green and it clunks even worse....anyone know the cause?

Check the rear diff hasn't got a nasty oil leak and is running dry.
