Just wanted a opinion on how hard it is to change a cambelt on impreza newage wrx sti ?

Pretty mechanically minded, are special supabu tools etc req ?

No special tools required. Pretty staightforward job to do

 

Can only advise from a classic point of view (I think the tensioner is different). I'd rate the job medium difficulty. If you understand engines and have an adequate toolkit, you should have no problem. It's "tricky" lining up the cams without the special Subaru tool, but if you're patient or can make up your own tool, you should get the job done in a couple of hours.
