U will get mixed reviews mate about this I love the chatter as it's called , but the turbo air going back thru the blades causes it and I've seen loads of threads saying it's bad and good , but over my years of experience I love the sound much better than a dump valve and I've never damaged a turbo with it chattering in my opinion do as you please matey :-)

In my opinion you will be fine if you just use it on the road.
If you do any lengthy track sessions then that is when you could damage the turbo. If it where me and I was tracking the car, I wouldn't risk it. I would fit a large diameter recirculation valve, it has to be a lot larger diameter than the original size as there is a lot more air to get rid of/move with a front mount fitted.
