Default Wrapping up pipe

As above, Can this be done while its fitted?! I have some old oil stains on my wrap at present and its annoying the hell out of me! Curious if I can replace the wrap without removing the up pipe?!

Get it really hot first with a really long and fast drive - will make it more fun.

Think I will just remove the old stuff and leave un wrapped. On a street car the energy loss can't be overly huge...Can it?!
Thanks
