Default Hi everyone!! new 330s problems already!!!

Hi everyone!

Sorry my first post is a problem one!

I have just got myself a 2009 Subaru impreza sti 330s in white, been saving for ages!! but the bad news is I am having problems already!!!

Does anybody know where I can get my hands on a wiring diagram??

The car has started to take ages to start up, the coolant temp gauge shoots straight up in to the red and the fans come straight on, this happens as soon as I turn the ignition on before I have even started it up!!

I have changed the temp sensor already but no luck, im hoping you guys my be able to point me in the right direction...

cheers Lee

Strange if the temp gauge is going up and the fans are kicking in whilst the engine is cold, id go to a trusted garage if i was you mate!

Sooooooo, I am starting to think this car is jinxed!!!! I have been working on the car at my friends garage trying to sort the misfire issue (still no luck), I went on holiday for a week and came back to find out his garage has been broken into and my car keys (both of them as I was stupid enough not to separate them) had been stolen!!! along with all the keys to his cars and all his kit and 2 cars from his garage!!!!

The worst new is that I now have a car stuck with no keys and cant move it and my insurance company will not pay out as I had left the keys with the car!!!

Any ideas anyone???

Not had much luck.

Hope your misfire isn't something more sinister

Get his insurance to cover it! A burglary is covered and also should be with your insurers too I belive

Yes that was the assumption I was under too but as the keys for the cars was not in a lockable box the insurance company will not cover it!!

Knowing my luck I will get a new key and then the misfire will turn out to be something bad!! so I think I am going to end up cutting my losses and just try and sell it the way it is :-(

Get 'his' insurance to cover it, or for him to sort it as it was left with him, his responsibility.

Why didn't you say or he say
" they were in a lockable box "
The feckin box was stolen ,, this day& age a lil rule bending is justifiable .
You need to jump on it m8 , otherwise how long is your car goin to sit ?

The problem was is that I was on holiday and had no input, but the police was on the scene first and obviously seen what had happened, hindsight is a great thing!! im absolutely gutted!!

And my friend was helping me out letting me use his garage I was just using his kit and doing it down there, I also feel a bit guilty as it looks like they was after the Scooby but could not get started as the battery was flat.
