Assume you have replaced the intake pipe?

Also it's a 20yr old car, what exactly are you expecting, the same BHP and torque it came with out of the factory? Get it on a dyno and see what its producing and go from there.

Could the split air intake hose causes loss of power as maf thinks its sucking in less air than it is causing it to under fuel

so you have a spit intake pipe and wondering why its not running right?? thats the least of your worries as that will be running lean as hell and will end up with a nice hole in a piston.

id be getting a new intake pipe before running it again.

Is it a slandered hard plastic one as you will probably have to remove the manifold to fit it, a silicone one would have been better.

You need to get it mapped after you after fixed the intake as it will be rich with non standard injectors, fuel pump, decat , etc.
