I have an issue with cold starts, the car wont start and its sat on the drive.
I have home start and wondered about getting it recovered to a good scooby garage.
Any recommendations? West Midlands pref, im closer to wales than Birmingham.

have you tried priming the fuel pump 1st? if i dont prime mine then it wont start

 

Hi, Yeh, its priming - I had the line off to make sure the pump was passing fuel though the filter.
Turns over fine, just no start

 

Check the crank sensor connector fella if it's broke or not connected to the crank sensor it will turn over forever but will not start.

 

Not sure how far you are from Warwick but Thwaites Developments are great.

Where are API please? AA man said there is no pulse to the injector and no spark. Fuel pump primes and it turns over.
Both cam and crank sensers looked to be ok on his tests, the ECU is live and doing its business.
Have swapped over the ECU to a known good one as well.

He has given up and set up a recovery to my garage of choice tomorrow.

 

Couple of choices. Thwaites. Api. Or I use c1r in Stourbridge
