I really did not want to do this but the car owes too much, clutch is slipping and 4th gear synchro needs doing at some point. I even considered turning this into a project car for myself but i know i will not have the time to drive it like other plans i have made in the past. If someone wants to make a sensible offer i am prepared to let it go as a whole for the right money.

I know a "4th gear synchro" sounds bad and expensive but it isn't really (AFAIK), just look at this:

OR:
http://www.japanparts.com/db/parts_d...&SEARCH_page=1
(It should still fit)
I don't think a clutch is going to cost a lot either. You may already be aware of the above but I thought I would just let you know just in case.

Subaru Collector 555.

Not sure about not being expensive, but my mate had a JDM blob STi that the syncro broke and it did end up as a expensive fix, was told that the JDM 6 speed is different to the UK 6 speed and a lot more expensive to fix!! Im pretty sure if he sees this thread he can tell you exactly what was different and why he had to break the car for parts!!!

I guess it could be the labour involved which may be costly from a reputable garage. I just remember seeing those parts previously but I am not sure if more parts would need to be purchased accordingly?

Think through offers before making them (regarding the shell and bare in mind it's a spec c shell) the best offer takes it. Difficult one to price as they don't come up too often. It's a solid shell, no repairs, just in from Japan so no rust either. Had around 4 people ask the same question about shell. Shell, engine and gearbox must go first. Best offer takes it.

As per the rules if you're selling something put a PRICE up. This isn't an auction, all items offered must include a price.

I'll put prices up when I'm ready. It says on the opening text "will update in the next few days"...

Thanks for your input anyway.

Your OP can say whatever it likes, but Maz is correct, the rules state that ads must include prices.

It would be appreciated if you could update the thread with those prices.
