*****June ESOC Pub Meet*****
Firstly I would like to thank Rob again for a great flyer, I think we can all agree how great it looks and fits in so well with all the new branding.
Now on to this months meet. May's meet was a little more low key with only a handful of cars attending. After a joint discussion with a few members it has been agreed it would be better to have a fixed date for the pub meet.
So from now on all pub meets will be held on the last Saturday of every month.
Hopefully the good weather will continue along with the great turnout's we were getting earlier in the year. June's meet is going to be on Saturday 29th. Let's see if we can make this a huge meet to keep the new ESOC wagon rolling with plenty of cars turning up, including plenty of newbies. With a fair few shows around the corner this will be a great time to discuss convoys and meet/departure times.
The family owned pub offers fresh home prepared food hot & cold (food is served from 12 - 2pm) as well as a nice children friendly area for all the mini Esoc members.

Sadly I am working again next weekend, but I am off the last Saturday in July and will definitely make that one.
I am one of the newbies on the forum and will be doing a introduction post of the Scooby soon.
Just getting all my before and after pics together... Had the bad bits fixed and had a Afterburner Vortex (from Ginola) with custom stainless sports cat'd center piece fitted recently.
Currently I've got an MY99 Impreza Sport, but saving up for an MY99/00 Turbo.

Did you make the meet mate? Sorry for the late reply only just seen your post. The end time really depends on how busy a meet we have. Normally there will be a few around until 5 or 6. Hopefully you can make a future meet.

Nope. Didn't fancy chancing the box on a run. Car is in extreme Scoobies at the mo. Paul is dismantling it today. Fingers crossed he'll get it sorted for the weekend and I'll be back on the road soon! Will definitely make the next meet.

I really wanted to try and make this meet this time and I was kicking myself in the end as it turned out to be such a beautiful day weather-wise.
I just couldn't justify turning up to my first meet with a car that looked like it had been, for lack of better words-'ragged through a hedge backwards!!'
After a thorough t-cut and polish though she is all gleaming and ready for the next time when I'll hopefully be able to attend.
Roll on July! I'm determined to get my sorry carcass to one of these get-togethers! If its OK for me to tag along that is..?

The next one is this Saturday evening. Meet at the tesco on the A127 between 7-8pm, then we move onto Southend. It's a cracking night, and the weather is supposed to be beautiful on Saturday! There's food / drink facilities down on the seafront too.
