Matching Green Show
Heads up to everyone - Just had the email notification from the organiser of the Matching Green Classic & Sports Car Show about this years show.
Sunday 7th July - open to the public from 11.00am to 4.45pm, so car clubs have to be there and in place for 10-10.30am.
I've already confirmed our attendance, and yes I know it's a while before it arrives, but I'm posting this up now so the date can be booked into everyone's diary's.......... so no excuse that you didn't know about it!
12-15 car maximum.......... just as the previous few years......
Even though I 'ain't got my Scoob anymore, I'm still sorting this one out for everyone. so DON'T FORGET !!

The Event Organiser has got back to me after I confirmed with him that we would be there - We are all booked - all he wants from us now is roughly how many spaces he needs to allocate nearer the date - I provisionally told him 10-15 (just as the previous 2 years we've been there).
I know they don't want more than 15 as a while back they let in the Evo lot, and they mobbed the whole show and caused chaos!
Had to laugh at that one.........

Looie at this rate we will have an oversubscribed event.
If someone really wants to go and we have already filled the 10 spaces then how do you propose we deal with it.
Names in a hat?
First 10 names out?
Or can we have more than 10 cars?
Personally I don't see 15 cars or so as "taking over and event unless its an event for 16 cars lol.
Just a thought.
