Default Gauge Adaptors Needed

Hi all

Ive managed to locate an old how 2 thread on here to help me fit the gauges over the weekend

https://www.scoobynet.com/interior-1...and-boost.html

According to the thread its telling me that im going to need an adaptor to fit in to the unused plug behind piston 3. Now according to one website I can get the adaptor for £6.95 that screws in to the blank section and tells me the oil temp.

The oil pressure as you guys know goes below the alternator

i.e this kit
http://www.scoobyparts.com/cgi/sh000...KIT#aOIL_2fKIT

Does anyone know where i can source these from on a saturday??

thanks all

Im not hopeful but thought it might be worth a try otherwise the gauges will just end up sitting in the dash pod for another 3 weeks lol

Drill out the bung on No.3 cylinder and tap using a 1/8 tap wrench, use 1/8"BSP for Defi gauges or 1/8"NPT for most other gauges.

If you go to Stauff Soth East in Basildon Burnt Mills, talk to Sean - tell him Paul from Sharpfibre sent you and ask them to make up the 1/8" adaptor pipe I designed for the gauges, it has a 1/8"BSP male thread on one end to go in the oil pressure sender hole and a 1/8" Tee so you can fit the gauge send and retain the OEM oil pressure switch
