I'm here, but I do find that there is not much of a community feel on the site. ESC has been going for years and there are lots of members who come to the meet but just don't post on here. It's almost like everyone who owns an Impreza in Essex knows the time and date of the Southend run so what is the point in posting?
I find the Southend meet over way to quickly, I enjoy the meet and the Tunnel Run is an epic night but if I have been a member of another car forum before and been to a meet I have always found them to go on through the night.
A pal of mine come to the December meet, he had a stripped B18 Civic if anyone remembers, but the point is, he enjoyed the cruise down to Southend through the A127, Rayleigh Weir etc etc, parked up and he asked, where to next? I just said they all go home at 9pm.
Don't get me wrong I'd love the ESC page to kick on from here and to get to know individual members better as we all share a common interest but it would be nice to see a bit more action. I think getting an RMO (regional meet organiser) would be a great start, wongy is a sound guy I nominate him

What made it great were the people willing to put in the time and effort to attend things and make them fun. It could be great again, just needs some hard work and commitment from the people that want it to be great, a regional organiser is a good start to get things going.
If you want things to happen in the region, get out and organise stuff, don't wait for someone else to do it for you.

You're about 5 or 6 years too late. The ESC used to be huuuuuge. Meets every weekend with 50+ scoobs regularly turning up to the opening of an envelope! Have a search in here for the old calendar threads to see how many meets there were and the numbers that attended.

Is this sat not the ideal start for getting more people out and active? With this guy coming over from Germany and the chance of getting your car in a mag thought people would be jumping at the chance. I know i like the thought of my car being in a mag no matter how small the pic is
