Scooby newbie sayin hi
Well just want to say a quick hello.
I live in Braintree, Essex and work at Stansted airport. I've had a few fast and modified cars in my time, mainly hot hatches tbh. Before switching I had/still own a 306 Gti6.
Ive recently been lucky enough to accquire a 96 P-reg impreza. What can I say, WOW!! Ive always liked the sound of the scooby but never dared to get one, due to not always having the cleanest of licences and age going against me in a big way lol
Im a little older now and was handed the keys to said Impreza, how lucky am I??
From what I have been told it's an import, was brought into the UK a few years back and then went to live in NI for a couple of years but its now back on mainland soil.
It has a few modifactions:
- A granny/toddler swollowing exhaust system (unsure of the make)
- A dump valve
- Mahooosive HKS mushroom filter
- Different 17inch wheels
- Apparently not lowered but it seems to sit quite low, maybe some eagle eyed people may be able to tell.
For now I have no real plans for it, some silicone hoses and to remove the stickers off the screen and boot for a stealth look haha. Just enjoy driving it around and getting used to the power.
A certain chelmsford member on here has already come to my aid in supplying a top rad hose last Saturday at very short notice thanks sooo much in helping us get her up and going again. My dad forgot your user name but said you were a fountain of knowledge and super helpful so a big shout out goes to you I look forward to attending some meets and meeting up with some like-minded petrol heads in the near future.
Anyway enough of my waffleing heres some pics:
