Any recommendations? Trying to compare main dealer prices with any reliable independents.

Cheers for your help.

Depending on where you are based in Essex, I use a mobile mechanic (who I have used for around 17 years and completely trust), being mobile,he does not have to pass on the overheads associated with having a premises, and at the same time you don't have to sit around at the garage or arrange a lift to and from said garage if you didn't want to wait.

I have passed his number to a few people on here who have had no issues also.

If you are local enough and you want his number, let me know

50k or 5 year service on a New Age is engine oil/filter & cam belt.

Xtreme in Boreham did mine in 2008 for around £270.

3 years on it lists on their site 50k New Age interim with cambelt £384.52

Xtreme did my 80k/8 year oil & brake fluid service this week for around £180 but I supplied my own engine oil.

Always great service from Paul at Xtreme CLICK.

What oil would you recommend? I'm used to Castrol in my previous cars (non-scooby!) but i'm sure people would cringe at the thought!
