Tis a lot more dough to pay just for one where the pistons and conrods don`t fall out with each other and the rest of the engine.

If you are lucky enough to have £50k to spend on a car like this, then money isn't really going to be much of a problem and this would be one of many in the garage....... I'd have one like a shot.....

As above, I think if you've got 50k to spend on a car then why not.......I know I would! There is a lot worse you could do with the money!
I think it looks really good - and would imagine it goes pretty well too!
PS - Ark, you know you always struggle to think of what to get me for my birthday..........

Still all hyperthetical (sp) as I haven't got a fiver to spend on a motor at the moment let alone £50k

Hey - if I could afford one of these - I wouldn't give a To*s about the depreciation.... I'd be grinning too much from just driving it....

In 1999 the 22B was on sale at £39,950. Taking into account inflation that equates to a figure today of £51,935.
No argument that it's expensive but it's a limited run with a warranty AND it's exactly what people have been saying they should do with the Impreza hatch. Fair play to them. I want one.

Ok probably nearer the £10k mark. The hatch never has and never will be as popular as the 22b. Even in the cosworth special edition. They got the shape and everything right with the classic. The 22b was a pretty much an official rally rep for the road. Where are the hatches in current WRC events? A handful a privateers. I think sadly scoobs have had their day.
Long live the classic.

Doesn't float my boat ! but then Subaru UK is dead as far as I'm concerned !
This is what they should have launched the Hatch with, not used as a lame last carrot to claw back some dignity ! Too little too late whatever badge you put on it ! Why do they always tart up an out going model just to shift more volume, yawn !

Thread about Subaru's
How 3 years ago is that
Loads more interesting cars to spend your money on, just think of all the diesel you could buy for that.
