Default Anyone got an arch roller?

Anyone have an arch roller or know where I can hire one from?

The new 225/45/17 rub a little on the inside so I've fitted my spacers and now they rub on the outside. they look the nuts though. Will be well worth this agro when they're done though.

Ta. Will do. I need some coilies and a set up. To give you an idea how wide they are, they sit flush with the mudflaps

I used to do them by grinding the bit that you'd roll at every inch and tucking it up

right, so who's got a scaffold pole

I don't rolling will fix that, I'd cut away the arches and fit wider one

I've used a panel beaters hammer and dolly set to roll arches in the past

tbh is i stick a set of coilovers on and loose the spacers there's wont be a rubbing issue. It's only the offside rear rubbing on the cup of the damper where the spring locates.

Although Wider arches was the original plan. Just not got around to sorting them out yet.

Moondisc style wheels and whitewalls could look pretty cool to with de spoiler and black roof. Would need a front mount and sport bonnet to carry it off though I think.

That's the good side The inner edge has a groove. Luckily not deep enough to weaken the tyre.

Blimey ! Makes a massive difference the width and profile percentage. My 235/45 are enormous compared to my 215/40.

These are front and rear before the spacers went on. The meaty tyre looks soooooo much better. They are loads bigger than the 215/40/17 that were on the other set.

Get a pic up of the 235/45

The ride quality is so much better. Well when you ignore the rubbing. They don't "bang" so much over the bumps.

I may well be in for a quote if I ever manage to leave the money in my savings. Complete respray of a bug in DBM, plus wheels in white. Thinking about some extra metal flake to give it a twist in the sun

Have the splash of red mica from the black/red mica put it to give it a nice twist. Would be subtle enough to notice in strong sunlight and get people wondering. But would still look pretty stock.

Red would work well with the rest of my detailing

Maybe a red pearl lacquer on the white wheels too

Can't do that because the mud-flaps and brakes just wouldn't stand out as much

White may be a pain to keep clean, but once I get the inner edges painted and lacquered it will make that job much easier

I'd ditch the flaps and paint the brakes yellow.

Seal them with Poorboys wheel sealant or Rim Wax. It's a must for white wheels. Otherwise you#re fighting a loosing battle.
