Is worth every penny. Just as with Evo FQ400 it will be slated because of price but 50k for bullet proof 400bhp with a 3 year warranty is a fantastic deal. A Cosworth built and warrantied engine is worth every penny against any barn conversion.

And i'm sorry but are people really going to try and compare it to a focus!!!

And, I just think that in these dross coated grey times (can't do this, don't do that, Ban this, tax that, Climate Change doom, cars are evil etc) we should do nothing other than cheer the fact that projects like this continue to happen.

Subaru, Cosworth, I salute you.

They just need to bring out a 2 door version of the hatch, and I think they will sell some much bigger numbers personally.

cant see why they'd do that

teh 4 doors dont really make any different to what a 2 door would

Yeh it is ... same as FQ400. Although why would you care ... you buy the car for you not the person afterwards. 12k per year is pretty reasonable IMHO

Fair enough.
But 36,000 miles warranty is a bit miserable for a £50K car?
Thats more my point.

I guess I can see where you are coming from ... however I had a WR1 on a similar sort of deal and I used it virtually every day and still didn't notch up 36,000 miles. After three years most would be looking to get rid of it for the next special edition anyway.

I do see what you are saying though. A nice 4 year warranty would be a bit of a sweetener to borderline buyers. The crazies will buy it anyway because they know how gooooooooooooooood it's going to be

4 years would be a real sweetner alright - not gonna happen though
But if they up'd it to 60K then that would be nearly as good I guess

Personally I'd prefer the 4 year option given the choice

However though, the hatch is a lovely car and I've just bought a 330S myself

5th scoob for me now
2 classics, a Prodrive style STI, an MY05 STI and now the 330S
330S wins hands down over the rest
