HBO programmes tend to be pretty good. True Blood is fantastic

No idea.

Sky have bought it for the UK showing. This starts soon I believe.

Only being shown on Sky Movies and Sky Movies HD first time around.

I think this has been done, not only to cash-in and make people pay for the movie channels, but Sky Movies are broadcast with Dolby digital sound, so will enhance the experience (even the non-HD ones) whereas other Sky channels aren't.....I think!

Oh well, guess I will have to wait the two/three/four years for terrestial TV to get round to showing it then.... might be dead by then.....

No choice about it.......... All I have is terresstial TV, and before you say anything, I can't get cable, can't have any dish on the outside of my flats, so no sky or freesat and freeview don't work in my area... so no option really except wait................... a long time....

Well ......... If you have a USB dongle and are at the Halfway House, I'll bring my laptop and save the on your dongle

Should have 4 or 5 episodes by that time

Cheers Nate - will try to get to the HWH, but so far work & family has stopped me getting to any meet whatsoever for the last 6 months or so.... but you never know... I don't know half the club members who post on here now....

at about a gig each it will need to be pretty large.

Around 550Mb each episode and the first 2 episodes are only 54 mins long ...... Got the 3rd one to watch now

Also got Dexter season 4 on the go at the moment, It also hasn't been aired yet and have the first 5 episodes ....... Excellent viewing also.
