A question for you camera buffs
Ok, here's the situation. My brother got married a while back so I decided to splash out & buy a state-of-the-art camera to take a few shots. Sometime during the evening I put the camera down. When I went back to where I'd left it, the camera had gone. Knowing that somebody had picked it up for safekeeping rather then stolen it, I waited for it to be returned, but it never surfaced. From time to time I wondered what ever happened to it, but it did not have a significant impact on my life.
Anyhow, we roll onto the past week. I had to go over to my Uncle's house. He asked me to get something from a drawer in his spare bedroom. Whilst going through the drawer I was amazed to find my camera, still with the film in it!!
Below is a picture of my state-of-art camera..........
Did I mention my Brother got married in 1989????
The question is, do you reckon a normal camera shop will be able to develop the photo's? I reckon there'll be some horror shots in there!!

That was probably the height of technology at the time.
I used to look at these from afar in my youth wondering if I could ever stretch to be able to afford one
They were a huge towering pinnacle of camera ownership.
Think you're fecked now though

These camaras are definately going up in price steadily.
I would assume a developer would be unable to lift any prints from the film however, due to the timescale.
They might even [B]look down[B] on you somewhat for owning such an antique
Anyway did you nick your uncle?
worth a try sending it off though , if only to see pictures of you from the 80's !!! hahahhaha

By the way ed,
there would only be 15 images on there, and you might stuggle to find someone able to develop the "disk" system, where the images were always grainy and made worse if using regular format printing (as the negatives produced are very small) you could still buy the film in about 98-99 - only from kodak, but given say a shelf life of 12 months (being generous) i doubt there are any available now or indeed any processing hardware.
