Smile Bring it on - F1 is back!

Go Schuey.......

Practice Two - Rosberg fastest for Mercedes GP

Nico Rosberg put Mercedes GP at the top of the timesheets on Friday afternoon, ahead of McLaren, Red Bull and Williams. The young German took his Silver Arrow round the Sakhir Circuit in 1m 55.409s early in the hour and a half session, with Lewis Hamilton second for McLaren on 1m 55.854s ahead of Michael Schumacher on 1m 55.903s and Jenson Button on 1m 56.076s.

Looking forward to a GREAT weekend!

I wouldn't put it past him. He's come out of retirement and already mixing it with the top three. Lets hope McLaren don't do the usual "i'll just park my car for a bit" routines.

BTW, what happened to Ralph Schumacher after all?

Is he still involved in any way?

Sssssshhhhh It`s a good excuse for a kip in front of the telly on a sunday afternoon. Otherwise we`ll only get nagged into doing some DIY.

Great article in The Guardian F1 Review last week, suggesting ways to liven up F1.

A couple I can remember were at some stage during the race two men should cross the track carry a large pane of glass between them. It is up to the drivers to avoid them.

Also, at random points around the track there should be piles of empty cardboard boxes, which scatter in all directions when hit, just like in Starsky & Hutch.....

Could be an idea?

several places round the track you could have OAP`s or mother in laws crossing the track randomly.
Mother in laws could park their broomsticks around the track.

The quickest & easiest fix would be a re-design so there's no 'dirty' air coming off the back. That way there would be closer racing.
