Which colour hosing?
The scoob will start to be tidied up ready for the show season in the next few weeks. Along with a few other subtle little tweaks that are planned .
So it's about to get it's first real clean including the engine bay. Which will also need to be dressed up a little. Question is which colour hosing should I go for? I think I should go for blue as I already have a few blue hoses and the earthing kit wiring is blue. But but then I have a black and red theme going on the outside (mudflaps, splitter etc), plus as it's an sti it has a red IM. I have been thinking about ditching the flaps though and going for a white and black theme on the outside. Or should I go for just nice plain simple black on the bay as well? It'll save me spending hours cleaning most of the pipes by replacing them Plus a couple are starting to perish.
Pic below of my old silver classic with a nice tidy bay below. No fancy colour hoses, just good old standard ones that were cleaned up.

When Dad got back from Mr C yesterday he said " I that David had a black scoob?" I repolied with "keep up. He's had an ST170, DBM blue bug and now the Golf since he sold the black one"
Won't sell this one just yet. Thought about it though and changed my mind.

If you think yours is bad mate, you should see mine, loads of Y-pieces etc used to join the hoses! Found out why the car threw up the error code 45, one of the hoses came off said Y-piece to the MAP sensor, put back on and the CEL has gone!
IMO if your engine is a red top, then blue hoses, if not I think red will work well with white
