I read this in the Sunday Telegraph. It seems this particular camera site warrants further investigation.

They should all be looked at as there are so many in semi obscured locations that cause people to slam on the anchors. Personally i think there are probably a lot of cameras out there that are causing accidents instead of preventing them.

It's a waste of time hoping for some meaningful data from the govt given that suicides etc are criteria for a camera siting.
