jd classic's/ terry hoyle
went along to jd classic's this morn for their breakfast club, what can i say this place is stuff that dreams are made of, there had to of been millions of pounds worth of car's there.
they had endless early jags, a gt40, 4 or more le mans jags including 2 silk cut ones which they run, they had the lotus cortina used in the great train robbery as a reccy car then dumped in a barn and only had 3k on the clock also had jenson's veyron up for sale there(did'nt say how much tho).
the workshops were out of this world not a spot of dust or dirt anywhere, you could even eat your food off the floor in the bodyshop!!!! well worth a visit next year
my brother inlaw also arranged a visit to terry hoyle's engineering after lunch, he specialy opened up for the lotus seven club and took us all round the cars individualy and told us the history on them, not clued up on the models but the had one of chris evens in there and one which is the only car in the world he said there was 28 to 30 million pounds worth of cars in there needless to say i was very careful walking round there

yeah just abit, my dad was telling me he used to build all fords engines back in the 70's and 80's for rallying!!! he was also rebuilding a merlin engine from a lancaster, which is his own engine!!!! (not the lancaster)he was also telling us he had built engines from scratch as in machined an engine from a block of alloy with no cad drawing just a free hand scetch???and replicated a ferrari engine, also one of the nicest people you could meet
