renault have named their drivers for next year. be a bugger if they pull as well.

So if Renault do pull out would their place get offered to one of the teams whose application to join F1 was unsuccessful? (ie Prodrive)

Sauber were 1st reserve and should therefore be offered the Toyota place.
So if Renault do pull out, then yes there would be another place, but with every passing week, it would be harder to get a team up and running by March 10. Indeed there is much speculation that not all of the new teams will be present on the grid come March.
