Have you had it mapped? can usually get some pops and bangs added in

What ECU you got is it a standard jobbie?

If you're running a vta dump valve you'll get a few p&bs when you decat it. to get the more though you'll need to have a little advanced timing added into the overrun on the map. How hot have you had it since decating? usually need to get it really hot to do it.

Centre cat. had the downpipe done yesterday - the back box is cool, but when we were having downpipe yesterday we realised there was still a centre cat . Pipecraft did that for us today but its not really given me the noise i thought i'd get.

Not had it mapped - YET. think its got a prodrive system and ECU - spoke to JGM who said I need to get a WRX ECU and run with it from there. Plan to get a FMI too - so I'll wait for the mods before mapping I think

matt - not had it hot - only drove it back from pipecraft

I'd run some octane booster till you get it mapped mate.

PPP ecu can be mapped fine as yours shouldn't be locked, the only reason to get a wrx ECU would be to cream off a profit from someone looking to replicate the PPP without paying @ the dealers. I just mapped over the PPP

Don't bother with FMIC you tart just get an STi TMIC

Might be why you've not had any yet. See what it's like when it gets warm.

What mods are on the car?

If im reading right and youve decatted it with nothing else then it will have a boost spike now and will be lean up top.

Pops and bangs are caused by excess fueling with retarded timing.
You will have neither right now. Get it mapped before it lunches itself.
