Pictures from Sunday
As some of you may know, we got my mum an Audi R8 driving experience for Christmas last year, she finally got it all booked up to go to Bruntingthorpe yesterday. So after the calendar photo shoot yesterday morning, mum and me went off up north (ish) to go met the R8
We got there and couldn't believe how many lovely cars were there, didn't know where to look first
We caught a glimpse of the stunning R8 straight away
Lambo
another Lambo
yet another Lambo...
and another one...
and a fifth Lambo...
lots of Lambo's and Ferrari's
Nissan GTR shame about the colour though
An Ariel Atom which was in and out the whole time giving passenger laps - £40 for one lap
Two cars that never moved while we were there - wonder why
plus a Bugeye - one of many Scoobs
The Bug again...
A Blobeye...
Mum had the choice between a Scoob:
or an Evo VIII
to have some demo laps to start off with, the guy driving the Scoob was quite offended that she chose the Evo, but we did explain that she's already got a Scoob and had never been in an Evo so it made sense to try something new (it's not as good though )
Then it was off to have a bumpy ride in a 4x4:
Then over to the sexy R8
Now don't forget you mustn't lock the keys in the car... sorry mum
Ready...
Set...
Go...
and no, she didn't stall it
She even overtook a Lambo
And lastly a high speed demo lap in the new STi
Which was great fun - the driver was a nutcase! But it's still not as good as a proper Scoob
There were loads more cars which I didn't manage to get piccys of, but the battery died I forgot to charge it up
Other than the cars in the piccys, of what I can remember there were Bentley's, TVR's, a Lotus Elise and a Caterham too
