Default Trackday Car

Yes me and Hils treated ourselves today to a trackday car.

And Ross aka Kin quick look out because Hils could be out for revenge.

We bought a Porsche 924s with a 3.9 rover v8. for those that are`nt familiar with porsche`s it`s a front engine rwd set up. weighing when I`ve finished with it hopefully just under a ton. And at present a slightly tweaked eng. putting out an estimated 200bhp and loads of torque.

Whilst I know it`s never going to be a scooby beater there is going to be loads of sideways fun.

Yes it`s on my to do list. Trouble is it`ll probably be a larger k&n filter with an even larger scoop.

OR If one of my mates has still got his supercharger from when he used to race which is likely knowing him. Visibility could soon start being a problem. ( up periscope )

Great, I thought, WE'VE got a new toy!

I stayed at work yesterday whilst Ark went to pick OUR toy up!

This is after I waited in the car for 45 minutes whilst HE test drove it on Sunday!

Anyway, he arrived back at the yard yesterday with OUR car on the trailer.

He came in and said would I like a go in OUR porsche!

Of course, I jumped at the chance to have a little play round the yard........

Oh no, what he should have said was..............

"did I want to go outside an SIT in the car whilst it was still on the trailer.....

The miserable b*****d wouldn't even unload it for me to have a go! I even had to ask for the keys so I could start OUR car up!!

Hils isn`t here at the moment she`s doing what she does best shopping.
Don`t quote me but I`m pretty sure it`s good news on the sticker front.
I`m sure she`ll enlighten us later.

Er, shopping? I don't think so. Tell the truth!!

I actually had to leave the office as some 'plonker' decided to seal round the windows to stop the gale howling through - after about an hour of breathing in whatever it was I was as high a a kite so decided to head home BEFORE it killed me!!
