Default import cowling

need some steering wheel cowling for my uk spec. i got me self a Nardi Terino steering wheel and altho it fits the spline and bolts up, there horn connection is entirly different and it sits right up against the cowling that surrounds the steering colom. To say im pissed off is an understatment as this is the second `simple` subaru genuine mod and Both dont fit for 1 reason or another!!! (centre console arm rest was the other thing)

If any 1 has some cowling and what ever assembly sits behind the boss to make the horn work please hit me up!

Shouldn't be any different to fitting an OMP or momo boss and I thought they fitted fine ?

my97 uk spec wheel has 2 connectors in it. 1 lt for the air bag and the 2 wires for the horn. black went to earth and other is obvious. i took the black bit off behind it also as it has a solid non removable clip on it. i noticed this bit also makes the indcator stalk return when you the wheel to centre. (which i thought was weird id have to remove)

The ND steering wheel has the boss on the back, around the spline is a copper ring, which has the postive wire attached. so one would think i would have to locate the pos wire in the 1 white clip that supplys electric origanal wheel. The ND wheel will not go on the spline with the indicator return thing on as it will not house the loom connctor for the orignal wheel.

does all that make sence?? ill take pics tomorrow if that helps but im sure you can get the jist of what i mean!
