Default Selling my Foz.

Hope it's OK to post this here.
Details, 2000/W UK Forester S-turbo. All weather pack, manual, leather interior that might be a very good retrim. Black body work, not mint, some parking dinks.

Mods:
Sti carbon strut brace
Forester Sti struts and springs all round (wheel alignment after fitting, with print out from Elite, Rainham)
Forester Sti exhaust

Car has full service history, mostly main dealer, cambelt and tensioner done a couple of months ago.(Mr Clutch, Chelmsford)
Everything works and has two keys/fobs, all books codes etc.

Also has Subaru dog guard, aftermarket roof bars and tow bar.

just under 98k on the clock.
Only issue is a slight leak from the screen that will be fixed before I sell.

Should be some pics,

I have about £3000. in it I guess, I know I'm not going to get anywhere near that

Asking £2450. ovno.

Cheers guys, I tried to check the price out on the Forester forum What's it worth? - Subaru Forester Owners Forum

Didn't get much feedback, you do see them cheaper but there are some sheds about, I bought this one on service history and the interior which is tasteful (unlike most) and in great condition.

Only selling as I've bought something else and I'm getting a van from work so it won't be needed.

It 5 speed manual, ice cold air con, Forester overmats, etc. Always been run on V-power since I've had it.

This is a UK car, all the Jap imports seemed to have lower mile but loked like they'd had a much harder life

Paul £2450 is about the right starting price. Get it and you can insure Sarah and you for around £400 full comp plus you've got a WRX in disguise

Only just changed my car, otherwise I would have been very tempted.....

Oh, Spally, you'll need the extra space for all that camping gear next year (MLR 500)

peter, thanks for the pm last night fella. Unfortunately it's going to be a no go for us, this will have to be insured in Sarah's name and we cannot get anywhere near £400 as andy has mentioned.

a free BTT and good luck with the sale fella.

Can't you get moley to do a like for like cover as a second car? It'd mean that the ins policy is in your name rather than Sarah's though.

that would be one way Matt, but due to sarah only having a few years NCB and being only 23, we are trying to keep her own policy to build it up, so eventually when she does hit 25ish we are in a position to possibly have 2 decent cars.

Paul check out Sureterm Direct as they are very competitive.
They also give you a discount for SIDC membership. I put Sam on mine for £436 inc her points.

HTH

If not good luck with the Sale Peter it does look a lovely example

Andy, with me as the main driver and sarah as the named driver, yes i could get it down to around the price you are saying, but as said in my reply to matt, would rather keep sarah as the main driver for the next couple of years.

cheers

You could always buy a really cheap something or other park it up somewhere and insure it 3rd party only to build up some NCB for Sarah.

Understand Paul
NCB is valid for 2yrs IIRC so you dont lose straight away.
