I personnally would disconnect the crank sensor and spin the engine over a few times to get everything moving (oil etc) before the first start.

not yet bud, only the manifold that i finished last night. waiting on a engine hoist to arrive as i need to refit my clutch as we split the box again the other night to sort the baring out. ( i done it a little wrong!!) so as its al loose makes sense to just pop it out to line up the clutch plate etc.

Wheels are still miles from done so really got to get my self on the case. Just spoke to kelly from here who i thinks going to take my spoiler and splitter off me and spray em up!!

Shocks and springs, brakes and interior i got to finish / change. dont look like im gonna get a re-roof quite yet so out with the mastic!!

ill post pics up later, hope the rain stays away!

Just make sure everything's buttoned up, check it all over a couple of times, all the levels are spot on and as speccy said remove the crank sensor and spin it over a few times to make sure there's oil round at the time you want to start it. By now the oil that you got around by moving the bottom end earlier would have dropped back to the sump.

I'd also run it with the rad cap off to make sure you don't have an air lock in the rad. Once the water's hot put the cap on to let it build up to pressure. Get it up to full temp and run it for a few mins. Then shut it off, check it all again and away you go
