Just been offered a new job today!!!!!
With all the broken promises from my current job and the taking away of my truck just because it's supposed to be easier to park up in central London than a Renault van and so on and so forth, I've had enough!!
New job role is Workshop Engineer, had the second interview yesterday and they're impressed with my CV and proved my ability to them!
The new Directors words was that I'm the perfect charactor for the job - quiet but assertive and polite, knowledgable and with my skills, they will greatly benefit the company!!
With all the stress I've been under the last 4 weeks, this is a HUGE weight off my shoulders!!

No, in a nut shell, I haven't been sleeping very well for the last month, being so stressed out that I dread going in and I can't even be bothered to put my contact lenses in in the mornings!
It's been constant worrying recently with people having to go self employed and threats of being laid off! The Ranger was taken away from me a couple of weeks ago and I think it's a sign to get out while I can and not risk being unemployed

I know how you feel. I made a big decision to leave the family business and go back into petrochem. The stress was terrible, made me feel rough all the time and never felt like going in to work. Now I actually wake up wanting to go to work (plus I get to drive the scooby to work). I took a big pay cut too, but know it was the right thing to do!

I've already got ideas buzzing round my head for a testing rig, I can't wait now!! Plus the Chiqo iced coffee they do looks gorgeous!!
Thanks Paul and Brian

Really chuffed for you mate - as I know your last job has been troubling you for sometime with rumours of self employment, losing your truck etc.
I think you've done the right thing IMHO - good luck!
And based in Thurrock - ideal for a bit of karting once a month @ lakeside!!
