Exercise IS bad for you - it's official.....
Having been inspired by all the cycling, running etc on here recently I decided it was time to 'get active'.
I ventured out to the shed yesterday afternoon to find the tennis & badminton rackets, and to have a knock about in the garden with Coz.
The rackets were at the back of the shed, so I reached over a pile of cr4p to get to them.
It was at this point, I think, that I disturbed the wasps nest, and was immediately surrounded by about 50 very angry wasps (I say 'about' as I didn't hang around to count them - in fact I ran likke **** out of the shed!)
Fortunately only one of the little bu&&ers got me - but typically, I am allergic to many bites & stings, and today, almost 24 hours on I am still in agony- swollen arm from wrist to elbow & burning like anything!!
So, until Ark decides what he's going to do with the nest, the rackets are definately out of reach!!
Oh well, it's the thought that counts!!

I'm sure the Doctor will "buzz" by later.......... with "shed" loads of ointment, but don't make a "racket" when you apply it.....

Went to Boots on the way home to get some cream or something to stop it hurting and they woulddn't give me anything - said I should see a doctor without delay!!
5 to 5 on a Friday - see a doctor - well I managed to see the emergency doc after an hour & a half & am now on two courses of antibiotics & have been told to keep the arm raised & rested!!!!!!
Shame really, its my left arm & I'm left handed & I was so looking forward to helping Ark polish the Scoob.....................
Doc said he'd never actually seen a reaction like it - but did say although the wasp didn't like me, I didn't like it more.....!
I'll be the one on Sunday looking like I want to ask a question..............
