I expect it'll be a gimmick to get more people watching.
FWIW (as i think most know now) the Stig is Ben Collins, although this series there is another Stig, called Jon Oakley (from Oakley Designs).... apparently

What a fantastic lap in the Ferrari though 
Seeing as Ferrari don't even let the owners of those cars take them home it would make sense that Schumi drove it around the track.

time shouldn't be on the board though.
By their own rules car has to be available
for purchase and a road car. If this can't
be taken away it's a track toy.
Get the Ultima that did the track in 1.15
on there. That meets all their rules, but
they won't allow it.

I think Top Gear ought to let the car be run on the track 'again' with the same driver that achieved that time
Oh, and the Ultima did it in 1.12
