Em for you I'm confident they will be fine. In fact why not go for Subaru OE stuff?

You don't do a lot of high speed breaking/continous usage so heat and fade won't be an issue.

try getting uprated lines instead, might find the brakes feel more positive doing that

i agree chris, also thought you want the car to be standard? OE pads it is then.

Find out the cost between a standard pad & a uprated pad.
If the difference is marginal why not go for the uprated pad anyway.

Well, I have found a supplier on Fleabay that is offering front and rear groove and drilled discs with Mintex pads for £180!! I have been quoted nearly £500 for EBC discs (grooved only) and red pads and £400 for Black diamond discs and pads.
I have asked if they will defo fit the 4 pots, to be on the safe side!!

If you are going the upgrade route then Mintex and EBC don't figure very highly I believe Em.

Why are you changing the discs as well?

If you are looking at CRN products i bought a set all round disks and mintex pads, they work just fine. I had problems with brake fade and it has improved massively with this set, can still get fade if i really push hard but then without spending out on new calipers and other upgrades you wont completely lose fade. I have done around 500 miles on them and they work well. BTW if they are advertised as buy it now or best offer then make an offer, if its a sensible one you will get them cheaper.

Where would the best place be to get them? Does Subaru still frown upon Jap Imports requesting quotes?

Xtreme or Mr Clutch should be able to source them.

They really aren't that hard to do though.
