If the ESC / SIDC got some of the fiver towards running the club, then I may be tempted to buy it. Not a huge fan of the way IB have changed certain things so no fiver from me at the mo.

That's a very fair point matt , But personally i feel that the fiver that we all pay for our badges is nothing compared to what we all get out of scoobynet / our forum in return & it's a very small price to pay all imho of course

I feel that if there was something to be had (ie special area within ESC that only ESC badge holders could use), I really do not see the point.

I know it is 'only a fiver', but I am sure a lot in here would rather give their fiver to the EEA, I am sure they would be more grateful.

When the ESC area first came about, it was as if it were a real chore to set up ...... Having VBulletin myself, I can tell you it doesn't take 5 minutes to create a new forum discussion area, maybe setting up the payment system after may have taken longer (this i don't know), but then it was to generate funds.

At one point, I took out the Orange membership, So I could use the search function, this level of membership does me fine, and though I do not have the ESC active supporters badge, does not mean I don't support the ESC or its members where I can
