Before i get under the car and start pulling stuff around, i am getting a light clonking from the front end on rough road surfaces and small potholes, braking cornering and steering seem unaffected. Have read somewhere that it is common for anti roll bar bushes to fail, is this the most likely cause???

I too have the unwanted clunking noise and would much appreciate any advice as to what it could be, although mine is all round, ive recently changed the suspention but im sure my sound is metal on metal which would suggest its a bush. ive changed the drop link bushes all round any further suggestion would be welcomed.

I had a similar clonking noise on the STI a few months back, changed the front anti roll bar links and problem sorted, only took 1/2 hour

Thanks all, ive had more advice that it probably is the anti roll bar bushes so gonna start there.
