I have an M reg Ford mondeo estate which I need to get scrapped. It was a runner but has sat for just over a year now so i guess it won't move now. It's in reasonable nick for it's age and would make a good banger racer as it's solid.
Does anyone know of anyone who could take it away for me? Not sure what the srap rate is at the moment! I would get trade plates from work and drive it somewhere but don't fancy driving too far with it now it's been sat for a while.
Any help much appreciated
Thanks
Andy

I take it then if she has sat for over a year the MOT is expired ?
If so then Trade Plates contrary to belief DO NOT cover non MOT ...only non taxed vehicles........
A non MOT`d vehicle cannot be used on the roads unless it is on its way to or from a pre booked MOT test

Try these... Fully Licenced Scrap Car Collection, Disposal, Removal Company - Scrap Car Colchester

AH yes, forgot it wouldn't be MOT'd and the trade plates would be useless. Guess it i'll be getting the trailor instead :-) Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Mike, wrx_dazza may be able to get rid of it for me. By all means PM me and i'll wing you my number over. I've had an offer of £80 for it from a scrappie in Colchester but he won't collect it for that price.
