Default Mazda MX5 for sale..

Due to some large expenses, I am going to have let the Mazda go..

Will sorely miss this as in many respects, I prefer it to the Subaru. It is a lovely little car to drive and my missus will probably dump me afterwards.

UK car, 1.6i
V plate, registered January 2000.
56k miles.
3 owners (inc me).
Full service history, all of it Mazda part from the last one done by a specialist.
All receipts, Mots etc from new.
Original handbook and dealer cards!
Glass heated rear window.
Alarm & Immob.
Electirc radio aerial and will include the JVC headunit.
Manual door locks, wing mirrors, windows etc - for the purist
Last service was done in Oct last year and was the 54k one. This is the major service with every change (cambelt, all fluids... everything that can be done, was done).
Mot to October - I will happily pay for it to get a new Mot as I'm certain it would fly through.
Tax to June - negotiable in price.
Anybody who knows me knows that I keep my cars clean. I recently had a ten hour detail session on it with it up on the jack, wheels off, arches, back of the wheels all cleaned and proected. Clayed, polished, glazed and sealed using Blackfire products. Every rubber seal, inch of roof and exposed metalwork was cleaned, treated and protected.

It has never let me, nor the previous owner (who is a long term friend, moved to Sydney so I brought it), who owned it pretty much since it was only a couple of years old (need to check that fact), down.

Bad points:
2 bad scratches, one on the passenger door by the window and one of the passenger side front wing.
Slight scuff on rear drivers side wheel arch.
Small 2" tear in the roof lining. I undersatnd this is easy to repair though.

I've put it on PH for £3,650.

Any offers?

Kind regards
Ross

Can see the door scratch in this one.

I think, a decent finish on the paint.

Cheers for the comments fellas.

Will be sorry to see it go. Part of me would rather sell the type R but have spent so much on it I would just lose much.

Let me know if any of you change your mind..
