Slain The Beast!!!!
Thanks everyone for the kind words last night concerning may slight knock in the car, thought I would post up a couple of pictures of the new motor
and some of the Old BeeSTi machine
On its way To ANC Chelmsford for assessment
Just like to add A plan insurance guys Very impressive, within 30 minutes of the reported accident the lorry was hear to pick it up and Groupama the underwriters so far fantastic professional people, couldn't recommend them enough.
We are now waiting the results from the car being put on a jig and measured
Hopefully quickly repairable as this Mariva thing is one pile of poo

Ouch - that hurts!
I'm sure she'll be looking better than ever really soon.
We were very impressed at how well you've taken it - still as you say, once in 30 ish years is not a bad record!
Great to see the spoiler back where it should be (and the lack it wasn't the reason for the 'bump'!)
Hope she's back on the road in time for a little jaunt down to Brighton!!

Bl##dy Ell Daren, you weren't trying to keep up with a Focus where you?
Seriously, it is obviously repairable, hopefully within the criteria for the insurance company. I trust you were not hurt, etc?

Sorry to see the motor looking so poorly Darren. It sounds like it was a bit of a "moment".
I had a tank slapper in the P1 that came from nowhere but luckily I rode it out with no total loss of control or any damage. It could have ended up a whole lot worse.
Let's hope it's fixed & back on the road soon before the Mariva stresses you out too much.
