On my way home this evening and as I was passing Southend Airport I looked across at the Vulcan and thought 'that would make a great pic if the Railway power lines weren't there' ... Anyway, I turned back to take a quick few snaps, and this is what i got :-

Go to warners bridge roundabout and into mcdonalds ,argos and the like , But go straight on to the flying club. You can get pretty close that way. Not sure if your camera lense will fit through the bars @ the gate mind you , But maybe worth a 5min detour
