Default Anyone else having issues with IE8 ?

Bit strange this one, but Scoobynet seems to be the only web site which is effecting this error.

This may get a bit "techie", so I apologise for those who this doesn't effect. I just want to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.

Currently running Windows Vista Home Premium which is the 64-bit version. I have also installed IE8 which comes with both the 32 & 64 bit version of the Internet Explorer.

The 64bit version doesn't load Scoobynet at all.

The 32bit version does load Scoobynet and seems to work fine on all threads, except for the Essex Scoobycrew one.

It will display the first page fine, but if i go to look at the second page (https://www.scoobynet.com/essex-scooby-crew/index2.html) this just directs me back to the main front page (https://www.scoobynet.com/clubs.php?club=1). Very strange !!

Anyone else experiencing this behaviour? I know Scoobynet is being upgraded, so wondering if this is causing a conflict between the board software and IE8.

been mentioned a few times now, the powers that be are "apparently" aware of it. The evidence of this may be beyond even your detective skills...........

Its been like it for a while now for me. Its OK as long as i only want to look at the first index page !!

Lets hope they get it fixed soon then. I'm guessing i am only one of a handful who is experiencing it.

Be interesting to know what the common-denominator is, ie Vista 64bit or IE8 ?

There's already been a couple of threads about the page 2 thing. I'm assuming they'll be trying to fix it tonight as they're doing more upgrades. As for IE, i find firefox is much better

Just started using it and it's sooo good. I haven't been this excited about a browser for years. Nice little built in torrent function if that's your thing, news reader, tabs all the usual stuff and some great add-ons. You can block flash adverts for instance....

Now there's a very good reason alone
Have to say FireFox is still out in front especially for safety too

Steve unfortunately it's a programming issue not IE8 just for a change lol
