Smile Xtreme thanks from me.

Thanks for rallying (no pun intended) round to help me get my 60k service & MOT done. Due to being out of action for the next few months I needed the car picking up & dropping off which was all done with no fuss or bother.

The car wouldn't start due to having not been used for a while & having a low battery. Quickly resolved by Xtreme Homestart & my trusty Power Pack. Solar trickle charger on order.

The service was tailored round my requirements with them fitting my Samco radiator hoses & STi panel filter as supplied by me. Also they saved me the expense of fitting new front rotors & pads, which I thought I might need by now, when they were found to have plenty of life left in them.

Modest charge to get the MOT done considering the extra involved to get the cat happy enough to give the right CO reading.

Hopefully I shall be back in the driving seat when it goes back in 6 months for an interim oil change.

Thanks again guys.

You can't keep a good man down, as they say.

My trickle charger came today & it's little blue flashing LED charge indicator started flashing indoors as I started to slide it out of the box so it doesn't need much background light to start it charging.

It has a built in diode to prevents reverse charging & comes with Croc clips & Cig lighter plug.

Nice one, sorted for another year

Am I carrying them discs back upstairs tomorrow then

Did the Sports Cat not perform without assistance, bit of a worry as mine is going to haddocks for its first MOT and passing out on the warranty

Should be pretty hot by the time I get there though and they are going to do it straight away.

Nice charger

See you tomorrow

Discs are tucked away upstairs cheers. When the car came back Jess's first words to Knowlesey were "I want you to come upstairs with me" Essex girls huh. What are they like?

As the car had been stood for several weeks & only had one short run the Cat needed a good high speed run to get it up to temp for long enough to clear the cob webs out. Once clear the CO then came down to within tolerance. Last two MOTs the Sport cat gave 0% CO readings straight away.

Charger was only £9.99 + p&p so pretty good.

See you in the morning.
